National Interiors Inc. was founded in 2003 by Steve Keriakos and Stephen Richardson, two of the most prominent personalities in the flooring industry in the New York metropolitan area with over 50 years of combined experience between the two of them. For decades both men have been at the forefront of a trade that is constantly evolving, demanding that craftsmen and contractors alike evolve in kind. Mr. Keriakos and Mr. Richardson have remained at the cusp of this evolution’s many facets, which entail new interior trends; innovations in materials; building code changes; efficiency and durability; budget considerations; and staying on top of “who’s who” in a trade where assembling the right team for each individual project is absolutely essential. National Interiors consistently exceeds the ever-increasing industry standard for energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.

National Interiors is a member of the Subcontractor’s Trade Association; the Greater New York Floor Coverers Association; the Association of Walls, Ceilings and Carpentry; the National Wood Flooring Association; and the Floor Covering Installation Contractors Association (FCICA). All of National Interiors’ employees are certified floor installers in multiple materials. Moreover, all foremen receive weekly onsite safety training and are required to complete certification courses in first aid and CPR. Foremen are trained for 10-hour and/or 30-hour occupational safety and health courses by OSHA.
